Re: One user no Administrator on system

Log in as the Administrator and change your account so that it has
administrative privileges.
Done under Control Panel/user accounts

Can you provide more details here. What is this, XP Home or Pro? What
accounts are on the system? Did you create them? Are they admin or limited
user? When did this problem start? Did things ever work? If so what
changed between when things worked and now?

In addition to any accounts you may have created there is a built in
Administrator account by that name. In XP Pro you are prompted to assign a
password to this account at the time of installation. For XP Home you are
not so many times the password is left blank.

When another account with admin privileges is created the built in
Administrator account is hidden. To login to it for XP Pro at the Welcome
Screen do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice, enter Administrator as the user name and enter
the password.

For XP Home you need to restart in Safe Mode. The Administrator account
will appear on the Welcome Screen.
