| Windows UpDate freezes IE and cannot reboot Windows UpDate freezes IE solid and you cannot close down Windows and have to use the Off button. You then need to reboot using last known good configuration. This is a brand new clean install of WinXP only two days ago and applied all Updates from the Windows Update website and only installed Office, and a few other benign programs. Many thanks |
