Don't use PM for Vista partitions until they release a version that is Vista compatible. -- Rock [MS-MVP User/Shell] |

Not many use a typewriter >anymore. It's time to spruce up the old newsgroups with some nice text, >pictures, etc. Even for those of us who use a newsreader that *can* render html, many of us choose to turn the facility off, because of the risk of the html carrying malware. Besides, most of us here are interested in content, not form. HTML does nothing useful for me in Newsgroup postings. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User Please Reply to the Newsgroup |

My experience with Vista has been good, and btw, my catalog of problems with XP is quite extensive. Why would this surprise you? Vista is a new OS, PM is legacy software. System level utilities are frequently in this kind of situation. They need to be updated for the new OS. -- Rock [MS-MVP User/Shell] |

And that choice is text only and my newsreader is so configured. As others have pointed out, HTML can carry unwanted malware. It also uses vastly more server space, and many servers insist on text only. Your other mistake is to use your plain unmunged e-mail address in your message. This betrays you as someone who is unfamiliar with even the basic principles of computer security. I just hope you have a use for all that viagra. |
