I've never heard of "Crystal Edition", but I don't know everything -
although I tell my kids that I do. ;-) Where are you seeing the "Crystal
Edition"?

It's a pirated version, apparently meant to resemble Vista.

Only "official" editions of XP that I know of are:

Home
Professional
Media Center
Tablet
Volume License (for business users with large volume of PCs.)

And outside of the "Standard" market, MS made a "lite" edition which
removes "major" components (like Windows Media Player / Internet
Explorer) so as to comply with over-seas court judgements.

MS has no such operating system. It's either a pirated version or more
likely renamed that way by the place you bought the system from.

Pop`

I'd be interested in the lite edition.
