Dell AIO 962 & RDP

I have a customer that has a Dell AIO 962 at their home. When they connect to
the office via RDP the Dell printer is not on the list of available printers.
I have had this problem with other printers as well such as HP and the
solution is to mod the registry and then install a different print driver.
Yes the option is checked on the RDP setup. I have all ready mod'd the
registry but no go. So does anyome know what printer driver will work with
the Dell AIO 962?

I have check Dell's website, but many Dell owners are asking the same
question there too. Dell tech's don't seem to know what RDP is nor do they
know the answer to the question.

Thanks in advance,
Don

Using RDP, the Local Resources tab has a place where you check your
local resources to allow them to 'carry over' to your online session.
Put a check mark beside Printer, reconnect, then when they print
something, it should be showing up... We do that kinda stuff all the
time....

Re: Dell AIO 962 & RDP

Hey RedForman,

Sorry but this was done as the first step, then mod'ing the registry was
done per MS KB 302361. Now I'm down to the driver as has been the case in
many other situations. This is apparently a large problem with many users
posting to Dell's website for the the same Dell AIO.

If you know which Dell print driver will work for this printer under RDP I'm
all ears.

Thanks in advance.
