Connect a second disk to your machine, with a formatted
partition, then copy your data across. However, unless you
previously set a policy to allow unrestricted access to all
files & folders in Recovery Console mode, you may be
unable to open them. Much easier to do the right thing
and back up your important files regularly to an independent
medium, e.g. a 2.5" disk in an external USB case.

As an alternative you can boot your machine with a Bart
PE boot CD. It gives you access to all files & folders.
Making such a CD takes a few hours but it's well worth
the effort.

You can also remove this hard drive and hook it up to another PC.
Another option is to buy a hard disk enclosure. This comes with a USB
connector so all you have to do is plug it in, then copy your files to
some other type of media.
