| Re: How to undo 'To view the contents of this folder, click: Show File In WinXP, navigate to the folder in WinExplorer, then either click on the Folders button on the toolbar and the submenu will reappear which allows the hide/unhide setting or simply right-click on the folder then select Properties > Hide/Unhide. The latter choice would be your only method in Win2K. | Re: How to undo 'To view the contents of this folder, click: Show Hi David, It didn't quite work out in WinXP/Win2K. WinXP & Windows2000 did not show the message on the left hand side "To view the contents of this folder, click: Show Files" after we tried your method in the WINNT folder. Did not reset or undo the hidden files. They still appear. I didn't want to hide the folder. Just the contents within the folder like I had it before. Thanks for your response. Thank you. Unsure of changes. | Re: How to undo 'To view the contents of this folder, click: Show Hello CreateWindow, Thank you for your response. Did not have time to try in WinXP, but in Win2K the option does not appear. Still trying to figure out in Win2K, but will try in WinXP later. Thanks for your help. | Re: How to undo 'To view the contents of this folder, click: Show In Win2K, if you only want to enable or disable viewing hidden files and folders, this option is found in Folder Options > View. There is no message shown as in WinXP.
