Windows Media Player As Default

How do you set Windows Media Player to be the default player through the
registry (regedt32)?

Problem: Everytime Quicktime is installed I must choose Windows Media Player
to be the default player within Windows. I need to be able to do this either
through a script file or a registry edit.

Thanks!

Re: Windows Media Player As Default

ScottA,

This command will set WMP as the default player for all media files:

%Systemroot%\INF\unregmp2.exe /SetWMPAsDefault
