Windows Installer/Adobe Problems (a second try)

Hi, I hope someone can help me.

I keep getting a popup window that says that a acropro.msi file is
missing. This happens whenever i try to do ANYTHING on my computer
(open a folder, send an email, open a browser, etc).

I have no idea what to do. I am guessing this is related to my Adobe
Acrobat Pro 7, but I see that particular file and when I try to get
the installer to point to it, it won't.

I have set my system restore point back to a time before I installed
this program and nothing. I still get the same problem.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

ps. Sorry if this is not the right forum, but since it's a Windows XP
Installer, I thought this is where it should be.

Impatience is not well regarded or rewarded here.
