| VPN and Browsing I have a VPN connection back to my office so Outlook updates all the time. When I just want to simple browse the internet it seems that the traffic goes back to my office and then back to me again. If I am not on the VPN my browsing speed is much quicker. Any ideas? |

Ask your network administrator to adjust the VPN settings of your machine so that it uses the local Default Gateway instead of the one at the office. |

| Re: VPN and Browsing I have a similar issue and am using the Microsoft vpn to connect into a draytek router. How can I change those settings from within the Microsoft settings? I have looked but can't seem to find any options. | Re: VPN and Browsing Control Panel / Network Connections / Right-click some VPN / Properties / Networking / TCP/IP / Advanced / Use default gateway on the remote network. Sometimes you need to explore every corner to find such things!
