Hi Daniel, You helped me so efficiently, I'm back to ask you where I might
find "Recovery Console".
I've been given instructions to correct my boot files ... change my NTLDR
and others in Recovery Console but no instructions as to where to find it.
Can u help please? I've been in Help searching but obviously not in the
right place. There's instructions what to do in it, but nothing on where to
find it. LOL I just know this is going to expose my limited intelligence
but ... it won't be the first time. Thx ...

It can be accessed from the XP installation CD. See this link:

Just a couple of tips, Edna, when asking a new question create a new thread
with your issue, rather than posting it as a reply to another thread. Also
there is no guarantee that a particular poster, such as Daniel will be here
at any time. Best is to just ask the question. Whoever knows will reply,

Lol, no problem Edna. By the way if you don't have an XP installation CD
the recovery console can be accessed from the 6 floppy boot disk set, or you
can borrow an XP CD. Anyone will work for accessing the recovery console.
It doesn't have to match the version of XP installed.
