Simultaneous wired and wireless connections to the same LAN

Could someone shed some light on how Windows XP would handle a simultaneous
Wired and wireless connection to the same LAN?

Is there a way of configuring which NIC the computer would prioritise to
route traffic through or is this automatically handled by XP? One of my
colleagues seems to think it is possible to configure this through group
policy but I don't recall seeing this setting anywhere.

Thank you

Re: Simultaneous wired and wireless connections to the same LAN

Vard0,

Nope, it's either one or the other... It's usually the wired connects
faster than wireless and ends locking out the other...

Re: Simultaneous wired and wireless connections to the same LAN

Some wireless utilities have the option to auto switch to wired if the
wireless loses the connection.
