| Why does "Find Printer" fail (directory service unavailable)? In any application (Word, Excel, etc), when I press ctrl-p and click on Find Printer, I get the pop-up error "Directory Service currently unavailable". What is wrong? How do I fix it? FYI, I have no problem getting to the Printers control panel by clicking Start on the desktop taskbar.      |

I should have mentioned that I am using XP Pro 2002 SP2 on a standalone laptop. |
