| Windows update (SQL update?) has corrupted svchost I beleive that it is an SQL update that has caused my svchost.exe process to give an Application Error every time I start my computer: "svchost.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x745f2780" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read"." Also, explorer has frequently started hanging after this incided and then forces me to hard shut down my PC. Is there a solution to this problem? |

With Windows Update as your default, you will need to check in at Office Update to keep your Office applications fully patched: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/do...incatalog.aspx -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear), working offline MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin; DTS-L.org Joachim wrote: > I beleive that it is an SQL update that has caused my svchost.exe process > to > give an Application Error every time I start my computer: > > "svchost.exe - Application Error > > The instruction at "0x745f2780" referenced memory at "0x00000000".
