| Slow Broadband speed and Wireless Networking - Router Hello, I am using BT Broadband as my ISP and access this internet from both my desktop PC and laptop via BT wireless router (BT Voyager 2500). We have recently upgraded our Broadband package with BT so we should now be receiving speeds of anything between 2 meg and 4 meg. For some unknown reason (and BT are yet to resolve this) - our Broadband connection speed has reduced significantly and our speed now varies anything between 24Mbps and 54 Mbps! Extremely slow indeed - infact, dial up may be quicker! Our laptop and desktop PC are both wireless enabled and the BT Voyager 2500 router has nothing else attached apart form these. BT has suggested we plug in an Ethernet lead to see if this increases speed but surely there is some other issue? Could it be that our BT Voyager 2500 wireless router is the problem and is not capable of allowing us the 2 to 4 meg Broadband speed ? Our line has been tested and BT have confirmed that we are only receiving low Mbps....... Any help would be most welcome! Many thanks |
