Windows XP Tablet PCAre you using Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition Service Pack 2 Technical Preview (Lonestar, 2005), Linux distributions or a different OS? Maybe you are dual booting. Discuss the latest on XP Service Pack 2.
I have a user that has a tablet PC and has offline files enabled. Friday he synched files from the file server, took the Table home and used the offline files. He created a new file while offline.
Over the weekend the file server was rebuilt, it is the only server w/Windows 2003 SBS in Active Directory Domain, so the computer accounts were lost.
When he returned on Monday the tablet was removed from the domain and added back, resulting in a new user profile on the Tablet.
When file synchronization took place all files were synched sucessfully accept the new file he created. Looking in the Synchronized file folder all files show synched accept that new one shows available offline line.
If you try to access the file it shows not available or missing pointing to the file server, but it was never synched there. If the tablet is taken off line and try to access the file it gives access denied error.
Anyone had the same problem? Any ideas on how to get this one file so that I can save it and the user does not have to recreate?
