| Toshiba Portege 3505 in Bad State of Disrepair I have earlier posted a problem under "Greetings...", where I reported the problem with my Portege 3505, which original OS was tampered with. I now have additional information and resources below that I hope members will be able to analyze and advise me accordingly. 1. I really got lucky. The Recovery and Configuration Builder CDs (3) have been sent to me 2. Sadly, the external CD Drive was not included and the system doesn’ seem to accept my ext drives (hp 8200 series, YI-HE USB 2.0 drive) 3. The system has been badly tempered with that it does not boot to the OS. It always reserts/reboots after the Toshiba Welcome Screen splashes . It is my fervent prayer that I can get the solution from you out there. Thanks, HOPET88      |
