Greetings!

I have a client who uses a Viewpad 1000 in his office and in passing yesterday mentioned that he had not been able to install XP Tablet PC Edition but was not able to give me info on why he couldn't install it.

Having installed it before on a Viewpad, I didn't think much of it and offered to do it for him but out of curiosity, decided to look around when I got home and in doing so have noticed other people mentioning the same problem (or specifically, stating that the early Viewpad 1000 came with W2K and did not support XP due to it's digitizer configuration) Admittedly these may be old reviews.

This 1000 is currently using XP Pro, so I assume this should be a simple matter although I haven't gotten around to it yet. Does anybody have any light to shed on the ViewPad/XP Tablet issue?
