I just looked at their website, and they are selling convertables without an o/s. What they may not have mentioned is that you can not purchase (legally) Win XP Tablet Edition, it has to be installed by the tablet vendor.

Can you give us the specs of what you purchased, and if you don't mind, what they charged you?

hi

hello i bought the tablet they offer with a 1.6 proccesor and i also bought from them win xp home edition ... i thought it was tablet edition...
well i finnaly came accross a copy of tablet and put it on myself it works like a charm now... its was 1649 total i think shipped subtract -100 if you dont want the an OS ....they do offer some sort of text recongnition software with it but it never worked for me ...so you can get the thing for 1549 shipped without the OS if you can get your hands on one ....the screen is huge for a taablet pc ...and it looks nice ....once i got my hands on tablet edition things were perfect ..... thanks steve

Well, I am glad you got it working good. I am still curious about a company selling tablets without tablet software. When I looked at their site, it was not even an option.

Dare I ask where you found a copy of XP Tablet? I have other people ask me that question, and I have been unable to find it.

yes i was under the assumption it was a normal tablet when i bought it.. i emailed them and they said the software they offer with it works just as good...but that was not the case at all .. a buddy of mine who works for a major pc company got me the copy i paid him 20.00 for it  .. so i would recomend xotic for price and quality if you can get your hands on tablet edition... if you cant its just a crap laptop with a fold down screen ....
