I bought a new Toshiba M200 in December and I have to say that is a giant
step ahead of the previous 3505. My only problem is Toshiba that bundled
with my system a "Recovery" DVD instead of the usual set of CDs. Note that I
was never offered to choose between a CD and a DVD and when I ordered my
system I also ordered the PC Card CD-ROM drive exactly to be able to easily
restore the OS in case anything goes wrong.
I called Toshiba requesting a replacement based on CDs and their reply was
that now they only ship DVD media!
To make a long story short they opened a case and someone will call me back
"soon" to let me know how am I supposed to restore the OS.
I hope to be wrong but it seems that this system will end for sale on Ebay
very soon.
