| Re: Tablet PC and Ink in Adobe Acrobat PDF Files, Annotating I'm confused. If it doesn't allow annotating exisiting PDFs then I'm not sure of the point. Am I missing something? | Re: Tablet PC and Ink in Adobe Acrobat PDF Files, Annotating Jim, If you just want to create PDF type document on your Tablet with ink. Colors, thickness etc will be included in a file that someone can open and read with Adobe Reader. Some users want to share "ink" with those that do not have Jourmal Reader installed. You could then attach the file to an e-mail and the recipient could see your handwriting, drawing whatever without having to have anything but Adobe Reader. For those without Adobe Acrobat the alternative would be to use MS Journal and print to PDF. Acrobat's support for Pen Input for some is lacking. Agreed, it has limited functionality. Inking directly on a PDF with text , graphics and other elements falls under the non-trivial category. -- Fritz Switzer Medical Dictionary and Handwriting FAQ www.abletFactory.com jsl wrote: > I'm confused. | Re: Tablet PC and Ink in Adobe Acrobat PDF Files, Annotating Jim, the whole problem is Adobe hasn't made their PDF process aware of Ink yet. Once they do, there'll be no problems. At this point, they haven't said anything about updating. Maybe you could contact their support section and ask the question of "when." -- Chris H.
