Sounds like you're seeing a message in Vista from the new security system
regarding User Account Control (UAC). Open Help and Support, do a Search
for "UAC" without the quotation marks and you'll find several results which
may help you. The system basically is issuing a warning, which you must
approve, to install new applications.

What's the error message that you're getting? Could it be that the
applications are only intended to be installed on Windows XP?
