| Windows Journal Text Conversion for non-Administrator I use two logins on my tablet PC: an administrator login and an every-day-use login so that I don't unintentionally change any administrator-level settings. This has worked very well for me except for one problem. When I try to convert my handwriting to text in Windows Journal while using my normal login I receive the message, "The requested command cannot be completed because required components cannot be found. If this problem persists after restarting, contact your system administrator." I have no problems converting handwriting to text when using my administrator login, but this doesn't seem to be a function that should require an administrator login to perform. I haven't been able to figure out a way to allow both my logins to use the text-conversion function. Any suggestions? Thank you. |

| Re: Windows Journal Text Conversion for non-Administrator Is your second account a Limited account? If so from the Admin account go into Control Panel/User Accounts then select Change an account. Select the account you use most often and when the new screen opens, select Change my account type. You will be given two choices, Computer administrator or Limited. Select Computer administrator, then restart the system and logon to the "normal" account. -- Chris H. | Re: Windows Journal Text Conversion for non-Administrator I was thinking my second account was a limited account, but Control Panellists it as an administrator account. Now I'm really confused as to why the text recognition won't work. "Chris H" wrote: > Is your second account a Limited account?
