Gateway presure sensitivity issue

I recently traded in my Averatec (which is probably the worst tablet on the
market) for a gateway cx2724...I absolutely love the gateway, but have one
problem (which existed with the averatec as well)....sometimes the tablet
with register a "click" action when the pen is simple hoovering or moving
over a button, when in Sketchbook, you can tell that these accidental clicks
are registering at very low levels of pressure sensitivity, as it leaves
almost invisible marks with pencil (but solid marks for the felt marker)...
my question... Is there a way to calibrate the sensitivity required to
register a click? I'm sure if I could tell the computer to ignore "click"
actions with less than say presure level 25 out of 256 I'd make a lot fewer
accidental calls while playing poker (or other costly accidents).

Re: Gateway presure sensitivity issue

This happens with mine too. The digitizer on this model is horrendous. I'm
gonna send mine in for repairs as soon as I finish the contract job I'm
working on.

I also can't right click anywhere near the scren borders using the pen
button. Gotta use a press-and-hold.

Re: Gateway presure sensitivity issue

If you know someone else with a Gateway, try borrowing their pen. I
have the CX2724 and two pens. I have the same issues you mentioned
with both pens, however not at the same time. When one pen acts
strange the other pen works fine. I will be sending my tablet in for
repairs after the holidays. I find this so frustrating that I use the
notebook in tablet mode less and less.

Re: Gateway presure sensitivity issue

Same here. I bring a second tablet (Motion LE1600) to the job site to test
my apps.
