My Tablet PC Input Panel Icon is showing up on the right side of the Taskbar
instead of the left. How do I get it back to its original postion?

Is this in Vista or Windows XP SP2? In Vista, the icon resides on the right
side natively. In XP SP2 and the Tablet PC Edition 2005, the little ::::
divider has probably been pulled too far to the right. Make sure the
Taskbar is in Unlock position, then use the cursor to create a <-> type
symbol over the :::: and see if you can drag it to the location you want.

This is Windows XP SP2. I don't have the ::: divider.

I'm not sure what Chris H. is referring to, but try to unlock the taskbar
first and you will see some dividers.

I got rid of this icon because the only thing I used it for was invoking the
TIP, which I can do using a gesture.

To remove or restore the TIP icon, launch Run, type command and then:

Removing:
regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\tipband.dll"
reboot and in Taskbar settings check "Show quick launch"

Restoring:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\tipband.dll"
reboot and in Taskbar settings check "Show quick launch"

Have you right-clicked the Taskbar and selected "Unlock"? You need to do
that most likely before you can move the vertical :::: divider marks around.
