| Slipstreaming XP CD I'm thinking on making a fresh install from scratch. For that it would be most useful could I use a CD incl. SP2 (in order to avoid the lengthy install of SP2). On my desktop and laptops I'm using a self-made CD incl. SP2 which I created by integrating the SP2 files into the files of a normal XP CD. But last time I tried that for the TabletPC Edition the resulting CDs did not work the way they should The media I have are 2 CDs from HP named - Operating System CD Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition - Disc 1 - Operating System CD Disc2. The second disc contains the folder "CMPNENTS". A special issue with this version of XP is that it's not necessary to enter a Key during the install. Obviously the install procedure detects that it is HP TabletPC. Has anybody got an idea if and how it would be possible to create an updated set of CDs?? Rainald |
