Motion Computing Announces New Product - the LE1700 and LE1700WT Dual Input Tablet PCs

This one has some GREAT specs!

I've added the news to my site
http://thetabletpc.net/news-motionle...cle0326071.htm and the specs
are on my comparison charts at http://thetabletpc.net/comparison-slates.htm.

For discussion, check our Motion Computing forums -

Whoo hoo that does sound (and look) sexy. I just wish I hadn't sworn off
slate tablets. :) I'd still recommend the Motion tablets to anyone who
doesn't sit down much and I love my LE1600 but the keyboard situation makes
it difficult for a software developer to enjoy. My doctor has been waiting
for this model...

Nice... The built in microphone array is cool for any Skype users as
well. Could do without the fingerprint reader, but some people like them.

Thanks for sharing!

Re: Motion Computing Announces New Product - the LE1700 and LE1700WT Dual Input Tablet PCs

Slates are great when sitting down as well as when standing up. However, at
a desk it is best to have a mouse, keyboard and screen unless you have a
patient there who wants you to be paying attention to them.

A docked Tablet is the way to go. Does anyone know if the Intel graphics
driver with the new graphics chips on the LE1700 supports an external
monitor properly? The graphics drivers for Motion's previous line have
trouble with external monitors under Vista.
