| RE: Ghosting using ink when orientation changes I have the same problem. I purchased mine & an extended warranty from Circuit City and they (phone techs) want to say it is a "software problem". But I called Averatec (even tho' the 12 mos. is over) and they said it sounded like a hardware problem. I've had it since March, 2006, and it did not do this "ghost writing" at first - this has just started in the last few months. A computer guy who now works for Office Max said that it is a digitizer problem that cannot be fixed and they should replace the computer. He mentioned another brand that also had this same problem. I sent it off this week because they have to fix the CMOS battery anyhow - that loud alarm is driving me bonkers. So we will see.... -- Janice "Daniel McCollick" wrote: > Model: Averatec CS3500 > Win XP SP 2 with Tablet PC 2005 > > Problem: When I change the orientation of the laptop, anytime i try and use > the stylus I get a ghosting affect to the right of where i'm writing, and > it's inverted. | RE: Ghosting using ink when orientation changes Update - I got a phone call today from the repair facility for Circuit City and they are going to have to replace my Averatec Tablet PC 3500. The digitzer is the problem. I guess the guy who siad it couldn't be fixed and they would have to replace it was right! -- Janice "Janice" wrote: > I have the same problem.
