M400 Freezing

I know this topic has been discussed on Tablet PC Buzz but the site has
been down for several days. I have been experiencing annoying freezes
with my Toshiab M400 since I acquired it in July. From what I have
read the problem supposedly is caused by the fingerprint scanner. I
just completed a reinstall of the OS and NOT activated the fingerprint
utility and I am still experencing random freezing. I have the latest
bios of 1.7. Has there been any other update to this problem?

Thanks

Re: M400 Freezing

Have you contacted Toshiba support? If you've had this issue since you
received the Tablet PC, then I would say the remedy is with the
manufacturer. I wouldn't accept a product which doesn't function properly.

Re: M400 Freezing

Thanks I did just that. They had me adjust the HDD protection service
down and that appears to be working at this time.
