| Re: Using with Interactive Whiteboard You are not supposed to install XP Tablet Edition on a non-Tablet computer except for development purposes, but I assume it will work to connect an actual Tablet PC to a digital whiteboard. I've suggested this to a nearby school that got digital whiteboards as part of a multi-million dollar grant, but the teachers were resistant to trying so I never got to plug in the Tablet PC (which tells you something about the downsides to multi-million dollar grants to schools). Programs such as Math Journal work almost normally on regular XP and should be great on a digital whiteboard, but I didn't get to try that either. Let us know what you find. This is a very important way to spread the advantages of Tablet PCs to lots of people. | Re: Using with Interactive Whiteboard Like Mickey said, Tablet PC Edition is only licensed to OEM's or developers. Windows Vista, however, will not have this licensing restriction. But what functionality are you expecting from Tablet PC Edition? Basically it just adds handwriting recognition and the input panel. You probably have no use for either of these without a touchscreen or digitizer. You could instead install OneNote if you're just trying to get something to write on the screen with. -- Josh Einstein / Tablet PC MVP Einstein Technologies, LLC ----------------------------------------------------- Tablet Enhancements for Outlook 3.0 Now Available Unleash the potential of Outlook on your Tablet PC, Origami, or UMPC.
