Pls help...questions on Tablet PC

Pls help...questions on Tablet PC
*********************************************

I am a thinking of buying a tablet PC - HP Compaq tc4400 Tablet PC
around $2500.

background
***********************
1. I am terrible at typing
2. I am not technical
3. I use gmail and yahoo for my emails ...not outlook etc.

My needs
*****************
1. Mostly emails
2. Word docs
3. sometimes pdf files...3 pages long.
4. Web surfing

My questions
***************************
I understand that it is not possible to handwrite directly on gmail,
yahoo mail etc.

Can I handwrite my email draft on a MS notepad and convert it
immediately to computer fonts with a click of a button, then cut and
paste to gmail ?

basically 2 questions :
1. is it possible to convert my handwriting email draft from a MS
notepad to computer fonts with a click a button ?
2. Will I able to able to cut and paste immediately ?

Pls let me know.

Thanks in advance for all your help,

Kalpana

Hello, short answer yes.

Basically instead of "clicking" in a field on a webpage or Word etc you get
a little icon float up clicking on that will launch the "Input Panel" which
allows you to write text onto it and then converts it and inserts it into
the field you'd normally type.

So you don't need to go and copy and paste from notepad, you should be able
to "write" directly into the fields on the webpage and have the Input Panel
convert it into text.

Here's a website which shows a bit of the input panel and how it works:
