| Pen stopped working I have an HP/Compaq TC4200 tablet PC. It was working fine. Then I got hit with a virus / spyware attack. In the process of cleaning the machine, I seem to have disabled / deleted the part of the OS that handles the tablet. The pen does not work, nor does the screen change orientiation when I rotate the tablet. I have re-installed the Watcom drivers (several times) and they seem to be working. Since I am on a long business trip without the original software CD's, I am hoping to find somewhere to download / install whatever software is necessary to get my tablet working again. |

| Re: Pen stopped working Sorry, but you would need the recovery media for your Tablet PC. Other than the XP SP2 (and Tablet PC Edition 2005) the specific software is not available for your Tablet PC except on the manufacturer's recovery media. -- Chris H. As Chris already said, you are out of luck without the CDs from HP. The adiitional drivers and software add-ons are availble on the HP download site http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/fi...e/97_6145.html but you need the CDs for XP TabletPC edition. This is not availble for download. You might call HP over the hotline. Perhaps they will mail you an additional set of CDs. Rainald |
