I wonder if anyone has any recommendations for a desktop stand for a tablet
PC that holds the laptop at a good angle for writing on when working at a
desk. I don't like trying to write on screen with the tablet flat on the
desk and I'm not always comfortable to have the tablet on my lap in order to
ink.

It's not easy to find any products via a google search, and anyway I feel a
recommendation by someone who's using a product is better than marketing
blurb

I just prop one end of the tablet up on a suitable thick book.

There have been recommendations for stick on legs

Laptop legs are my recommendation. As soon as I tried them they became and
Editor's Favorite on my site.

If you really don't want to spend any money, a rolled up hand towel (with or
without duct tape holding it in place) works.

Best bet would probably be a bookstore looking for a book stand
