Can all of that be done with a touchscreen tablet PC? I have a hard time finding anything that does the job.
I should add that money is not really an issue: if I find something that is really good, I will pay up to 2.5K for it!

Does the kitchen device have to be the one selecting the TV content? I just saw on
jkontherun mention of a freeware app called Orb, which allows one machine to pipe content to another internet-enabled device.

If you want both Tablet PC Edition 2005 and touchscreen, your choices are limited. They are so limited, I don't even know what they are, with the exception of UltraMobile PCs and the 8" Fujita LifeBook P1510d. I don't think they are thin, either, but I really must defer to the more knowledgeable about that.
