problem with xplore i104

Last year I bought an xplore i104 via internet in the USA
I recieved in perfect condition and work fine
Nowdays I've an OS problem: file hal.dll is corrup or missing
first I've tried the recovery console solution.
I boot with an external cd via usb but when i get to the moment to type the
Letter R
to enter the recovery console, it was no possible because the xplore
doesn't have keyboard
ant the usb port was used by the cd. I tried a with a usb hub, but it
didn't worked

So I open the package with the Windwos Tablet Pc certificate expecting to
find the recovery cd inside
but for my surprise there was only a manual

I wrote to xplore and get no answer, After doing some research in the
internet i found that my machine is "unsuport"

So now I've big problems, because i cant make the pc work and I live in
Argentina
where no PC technician has seen a Xplore i104 in their life

My question are
Can anybody tell me a way to enter the recovery console
does anyone have recovery disks

Thanks

Re: problem with xplore i104

Unfortunately with a corrupt hal.dll file, you need to be able to access a
keyboard or button on your slate which invokes F8 to get to the boot
options, plus using the keyboard to rebuild the hal file. I would contact
the support section for your Tablet PC and ask them to lead you through the
recovery.

If you didn't receive a recovery CD/DVD as part of your package, perhaps you
could send the machine in for repair. You would need to work with the
support folks to arrange this. There is no method of purchasing the setup
except through your manufacturer.
