I just purchased a Toshiba R15-S822 tablet pc. got it home and set up, the
pc has 79 processes running on it.
Have never had a tablet before and thought that this was somewhat unusual?
Any ideas?

That's pretty normal for Tablets...

Sounds a bit high, but it will depend on what the system has installed. If
you're running anything Norton or Symantec, you may have multiple processes
from that. I believe System Monitor has like 17 related "programs" running.
If you're concerned or see a system hit with what is happening, you can go
to your Startup listing on All Programs to see what is launching when the
computer starts.

yeah, I noticed almost the same thing, it's all of the applications
that are run at start-up I just got rid of many of the BS applications
that run at start-up.... **** tool-tray!!!
