| TIP keyboard hard to read! Are there any hacks or replacement dlls that will increase the size of the keycap labels on the TIP keyboard? The non-bold, unnecessarily-small letters on the keycaps are not that great to read in normal conditions but I will testify from personal experience that they are impossible to read in an airplane cockpit with both glare and turbulence helping you out. I would like the keycaps to be filled with big, bold letters. Any suggestions? TIA |

| Re: TIP keyboard hard to read! You can try changing your system's settings by right-clicking the desktop, selecting Properties and then going to the Appearance tab and change the Color scheme. You can also adjust the DPI settings above the normal (96 DPI) by going to the Settings tab, selecting the Advanced button at the bottom, then changing the setting on the General tab. I take it you don't have a Motion Tablet, nor the View Anywhere screen? -- Chris H. I did try it, though. My reward was that Microsoft scrambled all 50+ desktop icons and hung on boot twice, necessitating pulling the TC1100 battery before it would boot properly. 15 minutes wasted. Nope, not a Motion. Motion tablets are nice but big. This TC1100 is a gem. About 20% smaller, which makes a big difference in a cockpit. |
