| What is this key on my Acer C100? Right below the mouse touchpad is a left and right mouse button. In the middle is a 4 way circle button thing. I can press it in all 4 directions but it just makes windows go "bing". The online Acer manual doesn't say what it is either. Anyone that knows a good source for what it does or all of the blue Fn buttons that are on the F1-F12 keys would be great! Thanks, --Cameron |

| Re: What is this key on my Acer C100? According to the Acer User Guide (https://www.synapsenow.com/synapse/d...s/tmc100ug.pdf) on Page 14, the descriptions are: #4 - Touchpad. #5 - Click buttons (left, center and right) - The left and right buttons function like the left and right mouse buttons; the center button is a 4-direction scroll button. While you're checking on the online guide, do a Search for "Fn" without the quotation marks. You will have 28 results within the guide which may assist you. If that doesn't help, contact Acer's online support. They're pretty good. -- Chris H. | Re: What is this key on my Acer C100? Oh wow! Thats a different guide than the one I found and its exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! I'll have to look into that middle button some more. It sure doesn't scroll in and IE window. I'll test it out on some other apps and see if it scrolls. --Cameron "Chris H." <winxpnews********.com> wrote in message news:ufyhBiBYFHA.3356@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > According to the Acer User Guide > (https://www.synapsenow.com/synapse/d...s/tmc100ug.pdf) on > Page 14, the descriptions are: > #4 - Touchpad. > #5 - Click buttons (left, center and right) - The left and right buttons > function like the left and right mouse buttons; the center button is a > 4-direction scroll button. > > While you're checking on the online guide, do a Search for "Fn" without > the quotation marks. | Re: What is this key on my Acer C100? If it doesn't do what you are expecting it to do, contact their online support for more information. You may have a driver outdated or something. Or perhaps it doesn't do what you and I expect from the description. 8-) -- Chris H. | Re: What is this key on my Acer C100? Cameron, If it helps you any, the button works exactly as a 4-way scroll on my C100. I didn't have to set anything. It also works in IE for me. If you find out where the. settings are, I'll let you know what I have mine set to. Michael "Ree-Yees" wrote: > Oh wow!
