| Tablets in Hospital Brand new member (as in this is my first post). I am the IT director and part owner of a large veterinary hospital that is planning a transition to a paper-reduced practice with electronic medical records. I envision equipping our staff DVMs with tablets they can take into the exam rooms to pull up records, images, etc. all in a secure wireless network (already operational). What we don't have are tablets or a clear plan for the transition. I would appreciate any advice esp. if anyone has an experience with such a transition or using tablets in a medical environment.
