Hello,

I tried to install Table PC on my Sony U71 PC that is known for
working with tablet pc functions.
From my office account, i could donwload two disk image : one (disk
#1) containing XP Pro and the disc #2 containing some specific files
or tablet pc (one of these file is tabletpc.cab).

With the appropriate serial key given by Microsoft the installer ask
me to introduce the disk #2.
After copying some file i had the error message something like that :
"Couldn't find PipRes.dll" locating in \CMPNENTS\TABLETPC\I386
My original tablepc.cab (downloaded from Microsoft site) doesn't
contains this file... :-(

I choose cancel because i wasn't able to find this dll. The
installation process did not stop and after little moment ask me to
reuse disk #1.
After the final reboot i have the input panel in the desk bar but
cliking on it
nothing appears. I also have dead link about some tabletpc information
in the start menu....

So, what is this PipRes.dll that is not on my CD#2 ??
How i could resolv my problem ?

Charlie, don't have a specific answer for you because you're performing an
unsupported install on something other than the Tablet PCs we support in
this newsgroup. You might want to take a look at Tablet PC MVP James
