Besides a tablet, I also have a main desktop, which has Journal Viewer, and
that works fine.

Is it possible to load the Journal Note Writer print driver onto my main
desktop (which is not a Tablet PC). I was hoping I could create Journal
Note files by printing documents using the Journal Note Writer print driver.

I searched microsoft.com and couldn't find a print driver file. Is there
such a separate file that can be loaded into non-Tablet PC machines?

Don't believe so, Robert. The Viewer is just that, a way to view the
Windows Journal-created files on a non-Tablet PC. Beyond viewing, there
isn't any other functionality.

I read about someone sharing the Journal note writer printer on the
tablet and printing to it across the network on tabletpcbuzz.com. Can't
find the section at the moment though.

No you can not (with journal). But there are ways to get around that. Can i
suggest that when on your tablet you export to PDF or something else.

Also you may find it useful to simply buy a program that can e.g. GoBinder
PLanPlus or even OneNote.

Indeed - that is what I meant! I haven't got it on mine yet as I have
goBinder on my desktop and print to that instead, but it would be nice
to be able to print journal files.

I also use GB. However, if I need a portable copy and I'm not on
my TPC, I just use the Microsoft Office Document Image Writer.
