| Help with InkDesk, InkCrossword, and Media Transfer Well, I was really glad to hear about the InkDesk feature. So many times I felt this would really strengthen my tablet experience and guess what it is here and it does not run on my system. Help. I get the following: Fatal Exception Engine Error (0x7927e03e) I click "OK" InkDesk.exe - Common Language Runtine Debugging Services Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process id=0x900 (2304), Thread id=0xb04 (2820). Click OK to Terminate the application. Click CANCEL to debug the application. I get a similar error with InkCrossword.exe and Microsoft Media Transfer.exe The process and thread ids change each attempt but the 0x is constant in each case if that helps. I have an Acer 302Xmi with Tablet Edition 2005 Service Pack 2, with all updates. I beleive it is a .net framework issue but can't confirm because when I attempt to check the configuration I get a similar error. |

| Re: Help with InkDesk, InkCrossword, and Media Transfer What versions of the Microsoft .NET Framework do you have installed? There may be something wrong with your .NET Framework 1.1 install, so you might want to try reinstalling it and making sure that you have all the latest updates for it. -- Victoria Kruse (Hamilton) Tablet PC/Mobile Platforms -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties and confers no rights. | Re: Help with InkDesk, InkCrossword, and Media Transfer It appears that I have version 1.1 and version 2.0 which appears to be a beta version. These programs are installed with other applications that I use so I am wondering do I need both?
