New Tablet User...

I'm about to get a tablet, been a user of XP on a Laptop for quite a while
now. Any tips tricks or good websites that I can use to get the most out of
the experience?

Re: New Tablet User...

Harry, hopefully your enjoyment of your new Tablet PC will be equal to or
exceeding that of the rest of us. 8-) You may note reading through this
newsgroup that several different sites (see my signature line for one) are
mentioned throughout. Depending on your usage, you may find some more
interesting and informative than others.

I would suggest you take a look at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/t...c/default.mspx which contains
numerous links to really good information. Also, check out the various
columnists stories on the Expert Zone. Other than that, ask. 8-) We're
always willing to help.

Re: New Tablet User...

Thanks. Off to a bad start - the new Toshiba HDD failed on its first boot :-(

Will start checking out websites. I was hoping to get some practical advice
from users of the apps and the like.

Re: New Tablet User...

I would immediately call Toshiba's 1-800 support number. They're 24/7, and
should be able to assist you. Don't attempt to fix it yourself. Go to
Toshiba's experts for help.

Re: New Tablet User...

When did you send it in? Have you contacted Motion? They're generally
about a three-day turn around.

Re: New Tablet User...

Cheers, not a problem here in New Zealand, just called the supplier and had
them pick it. No way I'd even open the case on a new machine. Can't wait
for the replacement!
