Windows Journal Ink to Text issue

I use journal for notes - then convert my notes to text and paste into word.
I then spend a lot of time editing out the end of line returns so I've got a
useful word doc that I can continue to edit. Is there any way around this?

Well, it's really a Word question. You can do a Search and Replace in Word and
replace all of the carriage returns with a space. Then manually insert a hard
return where you want them while further editing the document. In the dialog for
replace (Menu - Edit/Replace), enter ^p for the original and then just tap the
space bar once for the replacement text.

Also, note that if you go through the Text Correction Wizard in Journal
(Actions > Convert Handwriting to Text) then there is an Options
dropdown that allows you to ignore line-breaks.

Ah, thanks for that, Mike. I'm new to the Tablet PC world, having just gotten an
Averatec C3500 this past Monday afternoon. I haven't had enough time to really
poke at the capabilities.

jkendrick is on a distinguished road
Why don't you leave the ink as ink? The beauty of the Tablet PC is the ability to leave ink as is. It is still searchable.
