| HP Product Support for TC 1100 is SPECTACULAR! I just had to send in my TC 1100 for a repair - there was a dead pixel line at the top of the screen. The unit is 1 year old and has a 3-year warranty. After calling HP (maybe a couple of minutes wait before speaking to a human!), HP arranged to send out a return box via DHL (a shipping company) to my home address. I then called DHL to pick up the unit after packing the unit in the box. DHL picked it up on Monday late afternoon (4:30 pm). It was shipped to Alabama for repair. I received the unit back, completely fixed, less than two days later - Wednesday morning at 10:00 am!!! HP reported they replaced the LCD display and system board. I was expecting to be without my unit for about a week. This was less than 48-hour turn around. Incredible. By the way, the TC 1100 is great. I love it. |

You must live across the street from the repair center? 8-) I had a like experience with Toshiba, and one of the things I most liked was I could check online for the progress of the repair. Each time something was tested or replaced, the web page was updated. -- Chris H.
