Access Database Application Data Entry

When I run an Access database form and enter the data from the digital keypad
on my Tablet PC, the data enters into the form correctly. If I use the hand
writing option of data entry, it is not entered into the Access form at all.
If I use the hand writing tool to enter data into another program like
Notepad or Word, it works fine. Do you know why I am having trouble entering
data into the Access form using the hand writing tool? Is there a special
property that needs to be set in Access for the form to work correctly?

Thanks
~Tony

Re: Access Database Application Data Entry

Which version of Access are you using? Anything prior to Access 2002 (the
Office XP version) is totally unaware of Ink. With the Office XP versions,
you need the Tablet Pack add-on:

and even with that, it is just patchwork trying to get Ink to Access.

The Office 2003 versions are natively Ink-aware, however, even that has been
enhanced by the recent release of the Office 2003 Tablet PC Update:

Access still has not been brought along as much as the other programs in the
suite.

You might take a look at PenOffice from the folks at PhatWare:
