Another post on pen not functioning on m275 - ink works on all applications
by scribbling with mouse - but pen is not recognized. This is the original
pen that came with it. Looked for the usual fixes - updated drivers, etc.
Cannot calibrate as the pen is not recoginized. Have already updated to SP2,
Office 2003 pro updates, checked for updates w/ Gateway site. Please take it
easy on me when making suggestions as I am a new MS user in the context of
fixing things - but willing to learn ( typing this on my linux system as I
didn't like my previous experiences w/ windows - the only reason I am giving
this a try is that I wanted the tablet experience and wanted it to be
compatible w/ work ) Looking in the event viewer I found no tablet.exe (or
on C:\ - what am I specificlly looking for?

We'll try going slow here. Have you tried changing the nib (tip) of the
pen? Sometimes they're stuck or defective. If you've done that already,
and it still doesn't work,I would be contacting Gateway support immediately
because there may be a problem with the digitizer behind the screen.

The mouse usage is normal analog input, whereas the pen is digital.
