| Docking I have a Desktop PC with Win XP Pro, I am considering getting a Tablet PC, is there a way to sync the two when they are together? Much like a Palm Pilot sync feature. The Desktop has BlueTooth and the possibly to upgrade to WiFi. |

| Re: Docking A solution that I came up with was a Perl script. ActivePerl is free, and the script itself is very simple. I just set up a script to copy important folders to an external drive, and then restore from that drive on the tablet. There's no reason it couldn't be modified to sync to and restore from a network share. Let me know if you want me to post the code if you don't find a better solution. -- Pete Wright Author of ADO.NET Novice to Pro for Apress www.petewright.org "Paul Adare" <padare@newsguy.com> wrote in message news:MPG.1c7249f539492c1d989b7f@msnews.microsoft.c om... > In article <25B9579B-EA75-4D1A-9168-A1C930C53A23@microsoft.com>, in the > microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc news group, =?Utf-8?B? > UXVhbnR1bTI4Mg==?= <Quantum282@discussions.microsoft.com> says... > >> I have a Desktop PC with Win XP Pro, I am considering getting a Tablet >> PC, is >> there a way to sync the two when they are together?
