Have Microsoft announced a date for a danish handwriting recognition?
If not, where will such an announcement be published?

The newly released MUIRP does not include support for Danish:

Microsoft has made no announcement regarding any future additions to the
recognition pack as of this date.

However, you might want to look into Tablet PC MVP Fritz Switzer's web
site - www.abletfactory.com - where he has a Special Interest Dictionary
(SPID) for Dutch that can be added to the Tablet. He's also got a free
program called, abletRecoDemo, that includes a sample of Dutch words that
are available to test your handwriting recognition.

As Chris mentioned, in addition to the Dutch SPID we also include a Danish
SPID from our site. Samples of both languages are also available in the
free program, abletRecoDemo which will let you experience the benefits of
enhance handwriting recognition prior to purchase.

I've checked SPIDs from your site, and this question may seem a little
silly, but i'm a newbie. Does those SPID's make the tablet able to recognize
danish text, written in any program on the tablet?

It is not a "silly" question. The Tablet recognition system is "word or
segment" based. The more words available for recognition, the better the
result. Adding SPID words to the User Dictionary makes them available to the
Tablet Input Panel (TIP) and all other programs like Journal for
recognition. It is very transparent.
