I have a gateway CX200X and the pin doesn't seem to have the eraser
part in it. Can I use another pin from someone else? This model uses
the Finpoint display and the pin has a battery in it and when you
place it in the holder in the laptop it recharges the battery. I
would like to be able to get to the eraser without having to alway
move up to the menu. Also are there shortcut keys for the Journal,
one note, flash cards that can switch the pin to eraser mode by using
a keyboard shortcut?

Most programs have an alternative, such as an Erase button within the
program you can simply tap, and in some ways it is easier to use than
flipping the pen over. Unfortunately, I don't believe the Fine Point
technology uses an eraser on the pens like Wacom.
